The Success Clothing Spring/Summer 2013 Lookbook

The whole Success team is very proud to present the new Spring/Summer 2013 video & photo Lookbook! This season, we’ve decided to shoot an airplane theme lookbook. Why? Because our new logo for 2013 is the Exploration crest (the Mountain logo) that represents our constant need to explore new ideas, new concepts, in order to always stay creative & on point. And most importantly, the new Exploration logo represents our new motto : Sky is the limit. We believe that nothing can stop you from making your dream come true, no matter how big your dream is. This is why airplanes are such strong, iconic symbols for us : they are human-built vehicle meant to explore the sky, get us humans out of our comfort zone to achieve what no other human being ever did : Fly. Who said humans could fly one day? Well the Wright brothers had a dream, and they made their first successful flight in December 17th 1903. That was over 100 years ago, so imagine what you can do in 2013. Sky is the limit, the bigger you dream, the bigger you will succeed. Success Nothing Less…

Toute l’équipe de Success est vraiment très fière de vous présenter le nouveau lookbook vidéo & photo pour Printemps/Été 2013! Cette saison, nous avons choisi de faire un lookbook avec un thème d’aviation. Pourquoi? Car notre nouveau logo pour 2013 et le crest Exploration (le logo de Montagne) qui représente notre besoin constant d’explorer de nouvelles idées, nouveaux concepts, pour rester créatifs et à-jour. Et le plus important, le nouveau logo Exploration représente notre nouveau motto : Sky is the limit. Nous croyons que aucun obstacle ne devrait vous ralentir de réaliser vos rêves, peut importe la grandeur du rêve. C’est pourquoi les avions sont un symbole si icôniques pour nous : ils sont des créations humaines ayant comme but d’explorer le ciel, sortir les humains de leur zone de confort pour faire ce qu’aucun humain n’a fait auparavant : Voler. Qui aurait cru que les humains seraient en mesure de voler un jour? Et bien les frères Wright avaient ce rêve, et c’est le 17 Décembre 1903 qu’ils ont réussi leur tout premier vol avec succès. Plus de 100 ans déjà, imaginez-vous ce qu’on peut faire en 2013. Sky is the limit, le plus grand vous rêverez, le plus grand votre succès le sera. Success Nothing Less…

The Success Scout Varsity Jacket

Part of our new Premium Collection for Spring 2013, we’ve designed a Scout-inspired Varsity Jacket in fleece for men & women. Being in the scout myself when I was a kid, I remember the most fun part : collecting patches. You would earn a different patch for each scout challenge you do successfully. Through different challenges, you learn a different fundamental value : pride, honour, respect and friendship. Well we wanted to recreate this vibe in our Varsity Jacket, with patchworks on each sleeve and a big bold embroidery in the back. These jackets represent more than a simple piece of clothing, they represent being part of a community of Success driven people. Faisant partie de notre Collection Premium pour Printemps 2013, nous avons déssiné un Varsity Jacket en fleece pour hommes et femmes inspiré des Scouts. Ayant été moi-même un scout lorsque j’étais plus petit, je me rappelle de la partie la plus intéressante : collectionner les patches. En réussissant divers ateliers et challenges scouts, on gagnait des patches, qui nous enseignait du même coups les valeurs fondamentales de la vie : fierté, honneur, respect et amitié. Nous voulions recréer ce vibe dans le Varsity Jacket, avec des patchworks sur les manches et une grosse broderie dans le dos. Ces manteaux sont plus qu’un simple morceau de vêtement, ils représentent la communauté qui a comme point commun le Succès. The time has finally come : we are showing full previews of the new Success Expedition Windbreakers! We’ve been working days & night to design a light jacket, that combines form & function, with a touch of technology. These windbreakers are designed to be a lightweight city jacket, that will be suitable for everyday usage, like going to work or chilling outside. It is also engineered to be very breathable and comfortable, to do sports like skateboarding or even trekking. The Success Rugby Polo

We are very proud to show the final results of our latest addition to the Spring 2013 Collection : The Success Rugby Polo. This piece was designed to be the first item of a new classic line, a more mature, grown-up division of Success Clothing. We always liked Rugby Polos, and sometimes we like to have a cleaner look, so it was just natural that we did our own! It is extremely well fitted and adjusted, with cut & sew striped jersey material. Decorations include patchworks on the front and sleeve, as well as an appliqué embroidery in the back. We hope you will like the new direction our brand is taking! Only 150 of these polos were produced, so these are very rare and limited edition. Empire Fashion Show

Last weekend was the opening of the brand new Empire skateshop in Montreal, their 10th store in the province and the 2nd one in Montreal. All the brands were invited for a private cocktail at the store, followed by their annual Status fashion show. We want to say congratulations to the whole Empire crew for making big moves this year, opening 3 new stores (Granby, Bromont and this one) and a big thank you for supporting Success since day one. Last week, our homie Sticky Fingaz from the legendary group ONYX was in Montreal. We had the pleasure to meet him at our Success warehouse to get him some fresh new gear. Sticky and Fredro Starr (ONYX) have been really good to us for a while now, supporting and wearing Success in their new videos and on tour. The Spring 2013 is dropping soon, and now’s the time to start showing some previews! We’ve been working really hard to have more cut & sew pieces into our collections, and we made 3 new styles for the upcoming season. Here’s a sneak preview of our first style : The Success Expedition Windbreaker. Made out of thick & durable nylon, this windbreaker will keep you warm in situations. Whether you are hitting up the trails for some trekking, or riding your bike downtown, or just to wear everyday, this light jacket is the perfect mix of form & function. As you can see, we are doing 2 colorways : Black/Gray/Yellow and White/Navy/Red. Stay tuned, we will be posting more pics of these jackets and also some previews of the other 2 styles every week until the release date!

A lot of good music, good vibes and some motivational speeches by Micheal Jordan, a true inspiration for our generation. You can listen it, and if you love it, you can even download it for free!
