Rest In Power Dutch : The Hoodies Project

On 11/11/11, Montreal lost one of the most influential and inspiring soul this city ever had : Matt Dutch Garner. His family called us during the holidays to work on a project that will help keep Dutch’s legacy alive. After all Matt has done for us and for the city, the least we could do was to jump on this project. So in collaboration with his family and friends, we’ve designed a “Rest In Power Dutch” logo, which was then printed on hoodies for men and women. The purpose of this project was to give out, for free, a hoodie to all his family members, close friends and supporters, so they can wear it and keep representing what Dutch stood for : Unity. We want to turn this tragedy into something positive. The smile on his father’s and friends’ face was priceless and was the reward for this project. So we are posting some pictures (thanks to Tina Bee Photography) that were shot during that night we handed the hoodies out to the crew. Rest In Power Dutch : Long Live The Duke.

La journée du 11/11/11, Montréal a perdu une des âmes la plus influente et inspirante que la ville n’a jamais connue : Matt Dutch Garner. Sa famille nous ont contacté pendant le temps des fêtes pour travailler sur un projet afin de garder l’héritage de Dutch vivant. Après tout ce que Matt a fait pour nous et pour la ville, la moindre des choses était de participer à ce projet. Alors en collaboration avec sa famille et amis, nous avons fait un design “Rest In Power Dutch”, qui a été imprimée sur des hoodies pour hommes et femmes. La but de ce projet était de donner, gratuitement, un hoodie à chacun des membres de sa familles, amis proches et supporteurs, pour qu’ils puissent le porter et ainsi représenter ce que Dutch voulait : l’Unité. Nous voulons tourner cette tragédie en quelque chose de positif. Voir les sourires sur les visages de son père et de ses amis a été la récompense de ce projet. Nous publions les photos (merci à Tina Bee Photography) qui ont été prises le soir que nous avons distribué les hoodies au crew. Rest In Power Dutch : Long Live The Duke.
